Environmentally Friendly Products

TLINTEC created an Environmental Charter in April 1992 as part of its management policy on environmental conservation. Based on this, the company is pursuing the development of environmentally friendly products from a global perspective. Furthermore, LINTEC is active on many other fronts as an environmentally responsive company, such as giving preference to the purchase of products that place a smaller burden on the environment through participation in Green Purchasing Network (GPN), the authorized association in Japan. Here we introduce some environmentally friendly products, particularly our label lineup.
   Fully Repulpable Pressure-Sensitive Adhesive Paper
All components of this pressure-sensitive adhesive paper are repulpable; face materials, pressure-sensitive adhesives and release liners. Because of our involvement with recycling through the development of these products, we also are supporting the collection and recycling of magazines and other paper.
   Pressure-Sensitive Adhesive Paper made with
   Recycled Paper
This pressure-sensitive adhesive paper uses recycled paper in its face materials and release liners. Products without PE laminated release paper are also available.
   Returnable Label
Although these labels have excellent water-resistance under normal conditions, they come off easily when washed with a mild alkaline solution (at over 70°C) during the washing process of bottles they have been applied to. This double property contributes to the collection and recycle of liquor and beer bottles.
   Water-Soluble Pressure-Sensitive Adhesive Paper
Special water-soluble paper is used in this product. It is ideal for labeling receptacles that are washed and reused, such as containers and test tubes.
   KINATH Series
This series of products uses a plastic film face material that is the same material as the containers to case with the styrene labels can be recycled without removing the label. These labels are also used for copiers. There are three types: KEE uses a polyethylene film as face material, KEP has a polypropylene film as face material and KES uses a polystyrene face material.
